A neo-grotesque with rounds squared to one radius and ten weights, hairline Ultra to fully closed Censured
Nikita Kanarev

Every round in the family is squared to one radius: the flanks flatten, the corner holds a fixed value, and that value returns in the bowls, the shoulders and the terminals. The stroke is even and the joints are cut to a set width, giving the flat surface of silkscreened lettering on instrument panels. The weight axis carries ten stops. At the light end the letter thins to a scored line; at the heavy end the counters fill and the word closes into a solid bar named Censured. Proportions are wide and the lowercase reaches 81% of the cap height, which packs a headline into a dense block and keeps it legible from a distance and at a shallow angle. The stylistic sets retexture a whole line from a single alternate, and at large size a repeated alternate builds a field that begins to flicker. Drawn for identity systems and signage: fascias, plates, panels, wayfinding.
